The European Union, as is well known, has a big problem due to the slow manufacture of vaccines against the Covid-19 Pandemic.

The three vaccines approved so far, by the block are affected by a production deficit. So why isn't the EU taking advantage of the Russian vaccine Sputnik V to help speed up inoculation?

Officials in Brussels have claimed that Russia has not submitted enough data on its Sputnik V vaccine for the European Medicines Agency, the regulatory body, to give it the green light for its administration.

However, the Russian makers of the Sputnik V maintain that they have followed all the necessary data requirements set out by the EMA.

So why the vaccination jam?

The Russian formula was the first so it has the longest proven history of effectiveness against the disease. A study published in the peer-reviewed medical journal, The Lancet, found that Sputnik V is 92% effective and safe against symptomatic cases of Covid-19 in the only large-scale trial so far.

The Russian treatment is comparable in efficacy to the three vaccines approved so far by the European regulator: those produced by Western pharmaceutical companies AstraZeneca, Moderna and Pfizer-Bio-Tech.

There is also a growing awareness across Europe that Sputnik V can play an important role in speeding up the vaccination program to inoculate the entire population of the bloc.

Political leaders from Austria, Germany, France and Ireland, Hungary and Czech Republic, among others, have expressed their willingness to incorporate the Russian Sputnik V vaccine into their national vaccination plans against COVID.

Sputnik V exists and is being injected in Russia since November 2020 and the European Union still does not recognize it.

Johnson & Johnson's vaccine is the latest. It was approved by the FDA in the United States just a couple of weeks ago and the following week it was already approved by the European Commission.

The "Progressive" government of Spain that keeps the population terrified with  a permanent mention of the deaths from COVID in the government media and limitations on physical displacement, curfew and other dictatorial measures, hastened to buy several hundred million Euros of the Jansen vaccine, as now Johnson named that last vaccine. If there is so much urgency and fear; it would be convenient to remind Mr. Sanchez & Co. that Sputnik V has been available, for sale, since January.

People like Jessica Von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, privilege NATO's anti-Russian ideology over the health of Europeans.

Orban, in Hungary, is an example of how to ignore the silly Russophobes in Brussels, as he usually does, and prioritize the health of Hungarians and has been vaccinating with Sputnik V since February.

The Czechs are also stockpiling Sputnik V, without waiting for the approval of the Brussels bureaucrat, as von der Leyen wants them to do. It is the stupidity of people like her that discredits the European Union and presents it as a political mask of NATO that only serves to disguise the military occupation of Europe by the United States since 1944 and make European taxpayers pay for it buying American weapons.

Russia is the only remaining independent traditional European power, which historically has a tradition of saving Europe from tyranny. Hopefully lucidity will prevail over prejudice and anti-Russian stubbornness inherited from the Cold War.

The European population is fed up with quarantines and other means of pressure that do not touch any other issue than the COVID infection balance sheets, to justify a mandatory universal vaccination. Mandatory vaccination but only with vaccines made in NATO countries.

The Russian Sputnik V vaccine was the first vaccine against COVID. Therefore, the one with the most amount of test data has and that has shown that it is 92% effective. It is also the cheapest and the one with the longest time in production; therefore, there is a sufficient number of doses to vaccinate several tens of millions of people immediately.

The European population is restless and desperate to return to normal life before the Pandemic and the usual economic productivity. However, having the solution at hand with the Russian vaccine The European Commission has a suspicious resistance to give the approval to give to Sputnik V in parity with vaccines made in NATO countries.

Brussels' argument is that its effectiveness has not been proven. That is a lie and there is proof that the Commission itself knows otherwise.

The EU recently sent its Commissioner for External Relations. Josep Borrell to Moscow, to propose that the Russian vaccine would be accepted by the E.U. provided that Russia allowed it to be produced by pharmaceutical laboratories in NATO countries (EU + USA) so that the objection to Sputnik V is not due to doubts about its effectiveness and efficacy.

The objection to Sputnik V is that it is made by Russian laboratories. I do not think it is for something related to the distribution of economic benefits. Because there are many precedents in profit sharing agreements

Mandatory vaccination but only with NATO made jabs. No wonder people mistrust them.

With the exception of Astra-Zeneca’s, all the vaccines are made in the U.S.; even the Germanic sounding Pfizer.

Mandatory vaccination against a Pandemic flu that 99% of those infected survive; same rate as a seasonal flu. Under menace of hijacking of basic personal rights otherwise. No wonder there are so many nonbelievers.

Russia and China fearmongering campaigns are marketing strategies for sale of U.S. made weapons. Is the COVID fearmongering campaign a marketing strategy of U.S. Big pharma companies?
